There are many positions available in automotive sales, starting with the salesperson (car salesman). To spite what some may say, automotive salespeople (many of who are women) are good people doing an honest job. In my seventeen years in the car business, I have learned that automotive salespeople represent a cross section of society. Are there salespeople that will lie and cheat to sell cars? Of course, you will find people like that in every profession, you even find that type of behavior in customers from time to time. Fortunately those types are few and far between. Most are really decent folks who just want to help you pick out a vehicle to suit your wants, needs, and budget, in hopes they can earn a living providing a service.
